  9. This release updates the SDK for Adobe Photoshop version 4.0. Version 4.0 is a new release
  10. that incorporates numerous API changes, including:

  12.  -- scriptable plug-ins

  14.  -- selection modules
  15.  
  16.  -- color picker modules
  17.  
  18. The project files are updated for the latest version of Metrowerks CodeWarrior.

  25. Documentation requires Acrobat
  26. The documentation included on this kit requires, at minimum, Acrobat Reader to view it.  To download a copy of Acrobat Reader free of charge, go to www.adobe.com.

  29. Metrowerks CodeWarrior
  30. All the projects in this SDK were tested in the lastest CodeWarrior environment.  Here are some known discrepencies between different versions:

  32. CW6->CW7:  CW6 pads PowerPC structures differently than later versions.  Use version 3.0.4r2 or later of the SDK with version 7 or later of CodeWarrior.

  34. CW8->CW9:  Some of the project preferences were changed when converting projects from version 8 to 9 of CodeWarrior.  Make sure to check all your preferences after converting.

  36. CW9->CW10:  After you've updated a project for CodeWarrior 10, you cannot load it in a previous version of CodeWarrior.  Make sure you have a backup!

  40. Support for the Adobe Photoshop 4.0 Plug-In API is provided to members of the Graphics Application Plug-in (GAP) Program by the Adobe Developers Association. You can find more information about this program in the Developer Services directory.

  42. As always, any plug-ins you create with this SDK can be sold or distributed royalty free.
